Nice to meet you,

I'm Sam! A portrait photographer based in coastal Connecticut, I’ve been capturing life’s moments since high school and shooting professionally since 2014. My documentary-style approach blends artistry with authenticity, creating stunning, heartfelt images that tell your unique story. With creative direction and a relaxed vibe, I help bring out real emotions, ensuring your photos are natural and meaningful.

About Me...

My photography journey began in an unexpected way when my mom gifted me a Canon Rebel T3 for my 16th birthday. Initially, I was gifted the camera to use for interior design projects, as I was originally pursuing that career path. However, that camera ended up being the catalyst for new opportunities. As I started capturing moments with friends and family more and more, I felt a magnetic pull towards photography. My senior year of high school, I made the decision to change my major to photography and attended my local community college. That fall, I had my first photography gig—taking senior portraits for my high school friends—and I also had the opportunity to photograph my very first wedding.

Over a decade later, I still feel the same passion about photography that 16-year-old Sam felt when she first picked up that Canon Rebel T3. I’ve had so many wonderful opportunities of photographing weddings, engagements, families, and senior portraits—each experience helping me grow and refine my personal style. Over the past decade, I’ve learned so much about photography and, more importantly, about myself. I've had the pleasure of working with amazing clients who have made this journey even more rewarding, and I look forward to the possibility of working with you!
