FAQ

When do we receive our gallery?

It takes 2-3 weeks for digital galleries to be delivered.

Do I need to give a security deposit?

Yes, I require a 20% deposit for portrait sessions and weddings when you sign your contract.

Can I get prints through you?

Absolutely! When you receive your online gallery, there is a "store" button where you can order prints and even photo albums. There are different sizes and formats to choose from as well.

What should I do if I need to cancel my session?

I totally understand that things can come up! If you need to cancel, I’d really appreciate it if you could let me know at least 24 hours in advance, so we can reschedule for the next available spot. Please note that if there’s a no-show without notice, the booking fee will be forfeited, and I won’t be able to reschedule in the future. Thanks for understanding!

What if the weather affects our plans?

I’ve had the chance to shoot in rain and snow before, and I enjoy embracing whatever the weather brings to make the session unique. But at the end of the day, it’s all about what you're comfortable with—especially when little ones or pets are involved. If the weather isn't ideal, we can always explore options like rescheduling or finding an indoor spot. If we choose an indoor location, I’m happy to come to your home if that works for you, though I do prefer working with natural light whenever possible. I’ll make sure we find a place that suits both of our needs!

What is the dress code for portraits?

For portrait sessions, I always encourage my clients to wear whatever makes them feel comfortable. Being in front of the camera can already feel a bit awkward, so I want you to feel at ease with your outfit. If you’re unsure about what to wear, I’m happy to send over some suggestions or guides. For an editorial look, I tend to recommend keeping things cohesive and neutral. Ultimately, it’s all about what feels best for you.

What time of day is best for portraits?

The timing largely depends on the weather, but when it's sunny, I highly recommend shooting during golden hour. This period, which occurs one hour before sunset, offers the softest and warmest light, creating a flattering and radiant glow.
